El Vuh
El Vuh is a rap group from Southern California. Their music speaks of Indigenous issues concerning "Anahuac", the ancient indian empire that existed prior to EUROPEAN Occupation. Formed in 2002 by Victor E, Zero, and E-Rise in the San Fernando Valley. Their name "El Vuh" is Mayan for "The Book". Their debut album Jaguar Prophecies was recorded in one day and is a reference to the Chilam Balam that speak of the end of colonization and a peaceful existence to the Indigenous people of the Americas.
